The minor consists of five courses. Students are encouraged to participate in interdisciplinary research.
A wide variety of courses is available for students wanting to gain a firm grasp of issues in the field.
Many faculty conduct research in areas related to biotechnology/bioengineering. It is highly recommended that students interested in the minor contact professors and indicate their interest in working with them on their projects.
Students take courses in biology, engineering, and the sciences. Limited funding is available to support research expenses for independent study and/or honors courses that are counted toward the minor requirements.
